Ash Wednesday Divine Service
Lenten Midweek Vespers
On February 26th we will begin the Lenten season with a Divine Service for Ash Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
Our Lenten Midweek Services will be held at the Church every Wednesday at 7:30 pm and every Thursday at 12 Noon at the Malekzadeh's after that, beginning on March 4th. The theme of these services this year with be Vision Problems. As I wrote in the Annual Report, this year of 2020 we will think about having 20/20 vision - seeing properly through the lens of the Word of God. We'll take a look at some common vision problems and how those problems are exhibited by folks in the Passion story and also by us, and how the Word of God can help us see clearly again.
February 26 (Ash Wednesday) - Astygmatism
March 4 - Far-sightedness (Jesus' disciples)
March 11 - Near-sightedness (Judas)
March 18 - Macular Degeneration (Jewish Leaders)

Take some extra time this Lenten season to meditate on the Word of God and for prayer. And to help you do so and come to our midweek services, we will have a simple soup supper before each Wednesday night service again this year.
God's blessings upon your Lenten season.
